Our Story

The Danish Foundation is a not-for-profit organization rooted in action and impact. Founded by Danish Manzoor Bhat as a tribute to his birthplace, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, the Foundation reflects his desire to give back to this beautiful region that shaped his journey.

From its headquarters in Srinagar, the Foundation addresses critical challenges across South Asia—India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, and Myanmar. Inspired by the resilience of the region and its cultural richness, we aim to create lasting change through strategic programs, empowering individuals, and fostering sustainable development.
